Built in 1885 for the owner of the Royal Northern Yacht Club in Britain, the all-metal Galatea had a steel frame, a lead-filled steel keel, and a riveted steel-planked hull, with a beautiful teak deck. This historic photograph was taken in Detroit when she raced against the American Mayflower. Framed in a brushed mocha pewter profile.
