Shipping policy

1.        DELIVERY AND PICKUP

A.)    FURNITURE SIZE: You are responsible for ensuring the merchandise you order will fit through doorways, stairwell, corridors and elevators. You are responsible for payment of hoisting and other extraordinary measures necessary to accomplish delivery. Please be sure to measure carefully and notify us at the time you order if you have any concerns. We can often help you with the measuring or work with difficult situations if we know about them in advance.

B.)     ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATES:  Estimated delivery dates are given as estimation only. Compensation is not available in the event of delay since there are many factors beyond our control that can cause lengthy delays. We will do our best to notify you of the delays and will only confirm delivery date once the merchandise has arrived at our warehouse.

C.)     MERCHANDISE HELD FOR DELIVERY: We will hold merchandise in our warehouse for ten days after the date of arrival. After ten days, full payment is required. After three months, a storage charge of 1% / month will be levied. If the deposit amount falls below 25% of the merchandise value, the order will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

D.)    POSTPONEMENT OF DELIVERY: We are not able to postpone a scheduled delivery unless the request is made prior to 10:00am the day before the scheduled delivery date. Due to the high cost of delivery, we will charge for redelivery if no one is available to accept delivery as scheduled.

E.)     CUSTOMER’S OWN MERCHANDISE: Delivery personnel will not rearrange or remove your existing furniture or set up home electronic equipment. MYHome is in no way responsible for personal property or merchandise in the way of delivery. There is no compensation given in case i.e. Floors, wall, stairs are marked in anyway of attempting to deliver items. 

F.)     SHIPPING ARRANGMENTS: Merchandise delivered outside of our regular delivery area may have higher delivery charges. These charges will be discussed and finalised prior to merchandise being ordered.

G.)    HEALTH AND SAFETY:  Due to health and safety regulations, our drivers cannot remove their safety work foot ware. Please ensure your floors are properly protected.

H.)    PICKUP: Sorry no assistance or assembly of product(s) will be provided by MY Home.

I.)       Unavailability: If the furniture that is ordered becomes discontinued,  fabric or finishes are cancelled by our supplier or cannot be supplied for any reason MYHome will do our best to find a suitable substitute to the order with the clients agreement or return the deposit.
