Rome was known for the masterful portraiture created during its time. Each coin in Celadon’s series of 12 shows a Roman ruler or figure’s portrait and an animal or symbol on the reverse, representing their accomplishments or associations. Each is framed within a raised matt with a v-groove detail and a softly antiqued warm silver profile for an elegant presentation.
